Grove Estate Hilltops The Italian Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Barbera, Montepulciano, Fiano 2022

The Grove Estate Vineyard is the oldest continuously owned family vineyard in the Hilltops, originally planted to vines and cherries in the 1860 Gold Rush by the Cunich family.

Brian and Suellen Mullany and partners then re-established the vineyard in the late 1900's. The Cellar Door building is one of the original huts used by the pickers and is a living semblance of those times.

The 2022 Italian is a blend of Neb, Sangio, Barbera and a touch of Monty and Fiano. This wine has been blended specifically to a lighter style ready to drink now. The Fiano is a new addition and this floral white variety adds a sense of mystique sexiness to the blend. Just checking if anyone is reading the back labels.
